If you want to change the color of the tile use a white primer that will allow you to paint on a layer of floor paint. In all the over 35 years i have been in the business i cannot point you at a single success story where epoxy was installed over tile. Coating tiles with epoxy resin is not difficult. If the tiles are glazed the gloss will need to be removed by grinding to allow the epoxy to grab hold. While there are some benefits to tile flooring such as choices in styles and colors tiles are not even in the same ballpark as epoxy flooring.

One of the major disadvantages is that tiles easily break if a large object is dropped on them.
