If the awning automatically retracts every 30 to 60 minutes and and no wind is present it means the batteries need to be replaced. The eolis 3d wirefree rts automatic wind sensor is used only for retractable awnings. There are a few other good manufacturers and several somewhat crappy such as sunsetter that are tempting from a financial aspect but i wouldn t waste on them. The wind sensor needs to be connected to its mounting bracket for it to function properly.

It will retract the product based on wind intensity. Reset the breaker or swap the fuse for a suitable replacement. Enjoy shade and peace of mind knowing that your somfy powered awning is protected in case of strong wing. The power becomes disconnected when the breaker or fuse detects an electrical fault.
